Welcome gift made our trip

From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from Bensen at reception set the tone for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room.

However, we did encounter a small issue during our stay that needed addressing. Although Bensen handled it well, it did detract a bit from our experience.

The room I stayed in was exceptional with a comfortable king-sized bed and an elegant bathroom featuring a separate shower. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop bar, which had a great atmosphere and delicious drinks. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The only downside was a broken lampshade in the room, but overall, it was a lovely stay.

The room was huge and spotless, and we really enjoyed the rooftop pool after a day of exploring. It was such a treat to relax by the pool and catch some sun before hitting the cozy bar in the evening. The breakfast was a bit lacking, but overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it for a getaway! 😊

Breakfast was delicious. The gentleman in charge of the breakfast has been there a long time I think and is an asset to the hotel. I enjoyed sitting in the rooftop bar with my drink at sunset, the view was just fantastic.

Overall it wasn't cheap but still acceptable.

my stay at rex was nice! the location is fairly close to the city center, making it easy to explore. I loved the king room. the shower pressure was fantastic. the highlight was the friendly staff at the 5th-floor bar, always ready with a smile!

I absolutely loved being just a short stroll away from Haig Park and the Canberra Contemporary Art Space, making for delightful weekend walks filled with greenery and art, and the staff were truly fantastic, offering quick and efficient check-ins that set a nice tone for my overall stay.

Just a balanced option for a brief sojourn in Canberra with all in all brilliant value for money. The bed was excellent, really helped after a long day. Make sure to check out the breakfast for a nice start to your day.

I spent a delightful night at the Rex in Canberra. The King Room offered a cozy atmosphere with comfortable accommodations. Enjoyed the rooftop bar views and the friendly staff made my stay even better. Unfortunately, parking proved a challenge. Overall, a good experience!

We had a lovely time at the Howling Moon rooftop bar. It’s a great spot to relax with beautiful views and good drinks. Plus, the staff were super welcoming and attentive, making it a perfect place for our family gathering.

In my wife's opinion, the kids wished there were more variety in the breakfast options. A few more kid-friendly choices would really make a difference for families staying there.
